Famous quotes containing the word writing:

To him Homer was a great writer, though what his writing was about he did not know.
    Henry David Thoreau (1817–1862)

    Frances Burney (1752–1840)

The big toad sits in my writing room
preventing me from writing. I am a flower
who dries out under her hot breath.
