Uno (card Game) - House Rules

House Rules

  • A player must continue to draw until drawing a playable card. Caveat: It is illegal to draw unless you have no playable cards! The penalty is drawing two more and losing your turn.
  • The recipient of a Draw Two can avoid drawing the cards by "stacking" another Draw Two from his hand onto it. Play passes to the next player, who must draw the compounded four cards, or continue the "stack" by playing another Draw Two. This could also be done with Wild Draw Four cards.
  • A Player who falsely calls "uno" when he/she has more than one card remaining must draw two cards. Same in normal.
  • Players who make card-play suggestions to the other players must draw two cards from the draw pile.
  • A player is not allowed to go out on a Skip, Reverse, Draw Two, Wild or Draw Four card. If a player reaches one card left, he or she must draw another two cards in hopes of drawing a number that will allow them to go out.
  • A player can play a Draw Four card on top of Draw Two cards and the next player in line must draw the intended amount or add another Draw Four card. This continues until a player draws the amount of cards he/she must draw.

Famous quotes containing the words house and/or rules:

Ladies and gents. The time has passed. The time has passed. Got to be a better way. I say to you, can’t any longer, oh no, can’t any longer, play off black against old, young against poor.
This country cannot house its houseless. Feed its foodless. They’re demanding a government of the people. Peopled by people. Our faith. Our compassion. Our courage on the gridiron. The basic
indifference that made this country great.
Jeremy Larner, U.S. screenwriter, and Michael Ritchie. Bill McKay (Robert Redford)

A man often thinks he rules himself, when all the while he is ruled and managed; and while his understanding directs one design, his affections imperceptibly draw him into another.
François, Duc De La Rochefoucauld (1613–1680)
