The story Horsing Around with History in issue 33 of the second series won the Comics Buyer's Guide Fan Award for Favorite Comic-Book Story for 1996.
Series 1 included issues 1-21 and Series 2 included issues 22-54. The Walt Disney Company chose not to publish Uncle Scrooge Adventures when they were publishing their own comic books. Uncle Scrooge Adventures fell victim to The Gladstone Implosion in 1997-98 along with most of the other titles. Gemstone did not resurrect the title.

Famous quotes containing the words uncle and/or adventures:
“Grace me no grace, nor uncle me no uncle;
I am no traitors uncle, and that word grace
In an ungracious mouth is but profane.”
—William Shakespeare (15641616)
“I have a vast deal to say, and shall give all this morning to my pen. As to my plan of writing every evening the adventures of the day, I find it impracticable; for the diversions here are so very late, that if I begin my letters after them, I could not go to bed at all.”
—Frances Burney (17521840)
