Ultimate Power - Continuity Errors

Continuity Errors

In the first issue, Reed Richards says he is 18 years old, but at other places it is stated that got his powers when he was 21. Ultimate Fantastic Four has been inconsistent on this topic as well.

Ultimate Power takes place while Spider-Man and Kitty Pride are still a couple and ends with Nick Fury being exiled from the Ultimate Marvel Universe. However, the events of "Ultimate Clone Saga", which still involve Nick Fury, lead to Kitty Pryde and Spider-Man breaking up.

Hank Pym's appearance as a member of the Ultimates throughout the series also appears to be an error. Ultimate Power takes place between volumes 2 and 3 of The Ultimates, and during that time, Hank Pym was either incarcerated in the Triskelion or under house arrest at the Ultimates' Mansion for his role in the Liberator Crisis.

Famous quotes containing the words continuity and/or errors:

Every generation rewrites the past. In easy times history is more or less of an ornamental art, but in times of danger we are driven to the written record by a pressing need to find answers to the riddles of today.... In times of change and danger when there is a quicksand of fear under men’s reasoning, a sense of continuity with generations gone before can stretch like a lifeline across the scary present and get us past that idiot delusion of the exceptional Now that blocks good thinking.
    John Dos Passos (1896–1970)

When people put their ballots in the boxes, they are, by that act, inoculated against the feeling that the government is not theirs. They then accept, in some measure, that its errors are their errors, its aberrations their aberrations, that any revolt will be against them. It’s a remarkably shrewed and rather conservative arrangement when one thinks of it.
    John Kenneth Galbraith (b. 1908)
