Primary School
In July 2003, the primary campus (Grades 1-6) moved to their new campus on the Centre from the old campus about 3 kilometers away. Facilities on the campus include 8 classrooms, 3 double classrooms, a computer lab, art room, assembly hall, library, audio-visual room and six classrooms for Mother Tongue Studies. The large playground has two fields and a large outside basketball court. Eventually there will be a covered play area. Covered walkways allow students and staff to traverse the campus in the rain without getting wet.
Originally the kindergarten and the preschool for 3-year-olds (Pukpuks) and 4-year-olds (Kapuls) were located on a separate campus. However, in June 2004 the kindergarten moved to the new primary campus. Then in July 2008 the preschool moved to the new campus.

Famous quotes containing the words primary school, primary and/or school:
“Parental attitudes have greater correlation with pupil achievement than material home circumstances or variations in school and classroom organization, instructional materials, and particular teaching practices.”
—Children and Their Primary Schools, vol. 1, ch. 3, Central Advisory Council for Education, London (1967)
“The primary function of myth is to validate an existing social order. Myth enshrines conservative social values, raising tradition on a pedestal. It expresses and confirms, rather than explains or questions, the sources of cultural attitudes and values.... Because myth anchors the present in the past it is a sociological charter for a future society which is an exact replica of the present one.”
—Ann Oakley (b. 1944)
“I have often told you that I am that little fish who swims about under a shark and, I believe, lives indelicately on its offal. Anyway, that is the way I am. Life moves over me in a vast black shadow and I swallow whatever it drops with relish, having learned in a very hard school that one cannot be both a parasite and enjoy self-nourishment without moving in worlds too fantastic for even my disordered imagination to people with meaning.”
—Zelda Fitzgerald (19001948)
