Transport In Ethiopia
Transportation infrastructure in Ethiopia has been neglected for decades, but is now a priority of the government of Ethiopia. Most of the roads and railways are now under construction, and will be completed between 2011 and 2014. Over a third of the funding for asphalt and gravel roads is being covered by the Ethiopian Government which is a considerable shift in recent years financial scheme. About 10 years back the International Development Agency, the European Union and Japan. had supported the finance by allocating about 90% required.
