- Always remain a member

- Understand that the Texas Syndicate is always in the right
- Wear the Texas Syndicate tattoo
- Never let a member down
- Respect other members
- Keep all gang information within the group
Additionally, gang leadership is determined by democratic elections, requiring a unanimous decision. Recruitment is conducted through social ties and involves a background check to screen for informants.

Famous quotes containing the words gang and/or rules:
“A general loathing of a gang or sect usually has some sound basis in instinct.”
—Ezra Pound (18851972)
“Unfortunately, we cannot rely solely on employers seeing that it is in their self-interest to change the workplace. Since the benefits of family-friendly policies are long-term, they may not be immediately visible or quantifiable; companies tend to look for success in the bottom line. On a deeper level, we are asking those in power to change the rules by which they themselves succeeded and with which they identify.”
—Anne C. Weisberg (20th century)
