Famous quotes containing the words formal and/or definitions:

I will not let him stir
Till I have used the approvèd means I have,
With wholesome syrups, drugs, and holy prayers,
To make of him a formal man again.
    William Shakespeare (1564–1616)

The loosening, for some people, of rigid role definitions for men and women has shown that dads can be great at calming babies—if they take the time and make the effort to learn how. Pamela Patrick Novotny (20th century)
