Autobiography
Stompin' Tom: Before the Fame is an autobiography detailing Connors's childhood years in an orphanage, and as an indentured farm labourer. It was a runner-up for the Edna Staebler Award for Creative Non-Fiction in 1996 and became a bestseller in 1997. It details his life before becoming famous. In 2000 Connors wrote his second autobiography The Connors Tone.
