Famous quotes containing the word shower:

Mix salt and sand, and it shall puzzle the wisest of men, with his mere natural appliances, to separate all the grains of sand from all the grains of salt; but a shower of rain will effect the same object in ten minutes.

I’ve been thinking about the comments that are always made about the shower rooms and the lack of privacy.... How easy it would be just to hang a shower curtain ...
    Margarethe Cammermeyer (b. 1942)

    And I rose
    In rainy autumn
And walked abroad in a shower of all my days.
