Shildon

Shildon is a town in County Durham, in England. It is situated 2 miles south east of Bishop Auckland and 11 miles north of Darlington. It is 13 miles from Durham, 23 miles from Sunderland and 23 miles from Newcastle-upon-Tyne. Shildon is part of the Bishop Auckland parliamentary constituency, which is represented by Helen Goodman MP.
