Shanxi University

Shanxi University (simplified Chinese: 山西大学; traditional Chinese: 山西大學; pinyin: Shān xī Dà xué) is a university located in Shanxi province, China. The University was founded in 1902 and is one of the three earliest established national universities in China. The university has 18 schools covering philosophy, law, education, liberal arts, history, science, engineering, medical science and management, offering 69 individual undergraduate specialties, 9 post-doctoral research stations, 48 doctoral programs, and 137 Master degree programs. It has a national base of Chinese Language and Culture Education designated by the State Council. At present, Shanxi University has 10713 undergraduate students and 2200 graduate students.
