Nujoma received a Doctorate honoris causa in Public Management from Polytechnic of Namibia in 2005.
His Excellency Dr. Sam Nujoma, President of the Republic of Namibia, received the Cheetah Conservation Fund’s 2004 Lifetime Conservation Award.
Dr. Sam Nujoma had received Indira Gandhi Prize from government of India in 1990.
