Derbies
The following games are considered derbies.
- East Midlands derbies - between Northampton Saints and Leicester Tigers
- West Country derbies - historically between Bath, Bristol and Gloucester, with Exeter joining the rivalry in 2010–11
- London derbies - between Harlequins, London Irish, London Wasps and Saracens, with London Welsh joining the rivalry in 2012–13
- Although only Harlequins currently play their home matches in Greater London, with Saracens set to return home matches to Greater London in February 2013, all five clubs have their historic roots in London. All have their headquarters within the London commuter belt, although London Welsh currently play outside the commuter belt.
