Theme Songs
The Sonic the Hedgehog video games have featured several theme songs for the character. In Sonic Adventure 2, it's "Fly in the Freedom" by Tabitha Fair and Todd Cooper. In Sonic Heroes, it's "This Machine" by Julien-K. This was a team theme shared with Shadow and Omega. Additionally, the background music for the stage Security Hall, titled "I'm a Spy", by Tabitha Fair in Sonic Adventure 2 is generally attributed to Rouge.
Also in the anime, Sonic X, music plays in the background of most of her events and appearances. The background music is called "Mysterious & Sexy Thief Rouge" and was first heard in episode 11. In the American 4Kids dub, a saxophone jingle often plays in the same scenes.

Famous quotes containing the words theme and/or songs:
“Children became an obsessive theme in Victorian culture at the same time that they were being exploited as never before. As the horrors of life multiplied for some children, the image of childhood was increasingly exalted. Children became the last symbols of purity in a world which was seen as increasingly ugly.”
—C. John Sommerville (20th century)
“The militancy of men, through all the centuries, has drenched the world with blood, and for these deeds of horror and destruction men have been rewarded with monuments, with great songs and epics. The militancy of women has harmed no human life save the lives of those who fought the battle of righteousness. Time alone will reveal what reward will be allotted to women.”
—Emmeline Pankhurst (18581928)
