Non-river Dolphins in Riverine Environments
Some oceanic dolphins live in fluvial environments, such as the Irrawaddy dolphin, but are not classified as river dolphins. The river dolphins should also not be confused with freshwater populations of porpoises, such as the finless porpoise.
