Rice paper (also known as Xuan paper) originated in ancient China and it has been used for centuries in China, Japan, Korea, and Vietnam for writing, artwork, and architecture.
Another kind of rice paper means edible paper made from starch and especially used for Chinese southern cuisine and Vietnamese cuisine.
