Quick View

Quick View

QuickView is a file viewer application in Windows 95, Windows 98 and Windows NT operating systems. With some workarounds the viewer can be used to view practically any file. However, starting with Windows 2000 and Windows Me, the utility is no longer present in the operating system line,.

The software has been ported by third parties to support XP, Vista and 7.

On 1995-04-03, InfoSoft International, Inc., announced the acquisition of Systems Compatibility Corporation, and the renaming of InfoSoft International, Inc. to Inso Corporation. Inso Corporation later developed Quick View Plus products.

Famous quotes containing the words quick and/or view:

    Not marble nor the gilded monuments
    Of princes shall outlive this powerful rime;
    But you shall shine more bright in these contents
    Than unswept stone, besmeared with sluttish time.
    When wasteful war shall statues overturn,
    And broils root out the work of masonry,
    Nor Mars his sword nor war’s quick fire shall burn
    The living record of your memory.
    William Shakespeare (1564–1616)

    One of the great penalties those of us who live our lives in full view of the public must pay is the loss of that most cherished birthright of man’s privacy.
    Mary Pickford (1893–1979)
