Queensland Community Care Network Inc. (QCCN) is a charity organisation based in Queensland, Australia. QCCN was established in June 1990 to provide broad-based community services directly to people requiring some level of community or home support.
QCCN acknowledges that the personal care of the elderly can become a source of stress to both the person involved and their carers. Preservation of the health and well being of elderly people is the key to preventing premature or inappropriate institutionalisation. QCCN helps to assist people to maintain a normal lifestyle.
QCCN contributes to two main programs to help elderly Australians, the "Community Visitors Scheme" and the "100+ Club".

Famous quotes containing the words community, care and/or network:
“The poorest children in a community now find the beneficent kindergarten open to them from the age of two-and-a-half to six years. Too young heretofore to be eligible to any public school, they have acquired in their babyhood the vicious tendencies of their own depraved neighborhoods; and to their environment at that tender age had been due the loss of decency and self-respect that no after example of education has been able to restore to them.”
—Virginia Thrall Smith (18361903)
“It seems that nature, having taken such wise care to fit the organs of our body for our happiness and convenience, gave us also pride, to spare us the pain of knowing our own imperfections.”
—François, Duc De La Rochefoucauld (16131680)
“Parents need all the help they can get. The strongest as well as the most fragile family requires a vital network of social supports.”
—Bernice Weissbourd (20th century)
