Queen of My Heart

"Queen of My Heart" is the debut single released from Westlife's third studio album, World of Our Own. It became the band's ninth UK number #1 single, staying at the top of the charts for three weeks. The song was written by John McLaughlin, Wayne Hector and Steve Robson, Steve Mac. The song is rarely performed live, due to the fact the band wanted 'Angel' to be released as the debut single from the album, and not 'Queen Of My Heart'. It remains one of the band's most successful singles, becoming the 23rd best-selling single of 2001 in the UK, and receiving a Silver sales certification in the UK for over 200,000 copies sold. So far, it sold over 335 000 copies in UK.

    Say nay! say nay!
    Sir Thomas Wyatt (1503?–1542)
