QP Ligature

The qp ligature, ȹ, is a typographic ligature of Latin q and p (also interpretable as a ligature of c and p), and is used in some phonetic transcription systems, particularly for African languages, to represent a voiceless labiodental plosive . ȹ was added to Unicode 4.1 in 2005, as U+0239 . As of 2006, only handful of fonts can display the character. These include Charis SIL, Code2000, Doulos SIL and DejaVu fonts.
