Religious Places

There is a shrine of an illustrious saint (Sufi) Balaq Shah Wali. He belongs to the genealogy of saints. That is revealed in the book of hagiography. He converted many non believers to Islam. There are also few religious schisms which remain busy in proselytising the dwellers of the town to Islamic teachings ordained by the prophet Muhammad. Famous quotes containing the words religious and/or places:

God from the mount of Sinai, whose grey top
Shall tremble, he descending, will himself
In thunder lightning and loud trumpets’ sound
Ordain them laws; part such as appertain
To civil justice, part religious rites
Of sacrifice, informing them, by types
And shadows, of that destined seed to bruise
The serpent, by what means he shall achieve
    Mankind’s deliverance.
    John Milton (1608–1674)

The sense of place is unavoidable in western Dakota, and maybe that’s our gift to the world. ...In these places you wait, and the places mold you.
    Kathleen Norris (b. 1947)
