Qasr Al-Sir

Qasr al-Sir (Arabic: قصر السر‎; Hebrew: קסר אל-סיר‎, lit. Fortress of Mystery) is a Bedouin village in the Negev desert in southern Israel. The village covers 5,000 dunams (500 hectares) and is home (along with the adjacent unrecognised village of al-Hawashla) to the al-Hawashla tribe. It falls under the jurisdiction of Abu Basma Regional Council. In 2011 Qasr al-sir had an officially reported population of 1,090.
