Pyay

Pyay (Burmese: ပြည်မြို့; MLCTS: prany mrui., ; Mon: ပြန်, ; also known as Prome) is a town in the Bago Region in Burma (Myanmar). Pyay is located on the Ayeyarwady River (Irrawaddy River) and is 260 km (160 mi) northwest of Yangon.
