Famous quotes containing the words pushing and/or daisies:
“I have learned to walk: since then, I have indulged myself in running. I have learned to fly: since then, I do not want anybody pushing me to get me going.”
—Friedrich Nietzsche (18441900)
“When daisies pied and violets blue,
And lady-smocks, all silver-white,
And cuckoo-buds of yellow hue
Do paint the meadows with delight,
The cuckoo then on every tree
Mocks married men, for thus sings he:
Cuckoo!
Cuckoo, cuckooO word of fear,
Unpleasing to a married ear.”
—William Shakespeare (15641616)
