Pomona College is currently ranked fourth in national liberal arts colleges according to U.S. News & World Report and has been ranked in the top ten of liberal arts colleges nationally since the inception of USN&WR's rankings. It is currently ranked ninth overall in Forbes' "America's Top Colleges," which includes both public and private institutions. The rankings are based on post graduate success, student satisfaction, amount of student debt, four-year graduation rates, and competitive awards. In 2012 the Princeton Review ranked Pomona the sixth best value in private colleges. In 2010 Pomona was ranked number one in classroom experience by the Princeton review.
