Polychrotidae

Polychrotidae are a family of lizards commonly known as anoles ( /əˈnoʊliːz/). NCBI places the anole in subfamily Polychrotinae of the family Iguanidae. Four genera are common: Anolis, Norops, Phenacosaurus, and Polychrus.
