Types of Photographic Papers
Photographic papers fall into one of three sub-categories:
- Papers used for negative-positive processes. This includes all current black-and-white papers and chromogenic color papers.
- Papers used for positive-positive processes in which the "film" is the same as the final image (e.g., the Polaroid process).
- Papers used for positive-positive film-to-paper processes where a positive image is enlarged and copied onto a photographic paper, for example the Ilfochrome process.

Famous quotes containing the words types of, types, photographic and/or papers:
“The wider the range of possibilities we offer children, the more intense will be their motivations and the richer their experiences. —Loris Malaguzzi (19201994)
“He types his laboured columnweary drudge!
Senile fudge and solemn:
Spare, editor, to condemn
These dry leaves of his autumn.”
—Robertson Davies (b. 1913)
“Sickness sensitizes man for observation, like a photographic plate.”
—Edmond De Goncourt (18221896)
“All the familiar horrors we
Associate with others
Are coming fast along our way:
The wind is warning in our tree
And morning papers still betray
The shrieking of the mothers.”
—Philip Larkin (19221986)
