In 2011, the Philadelphia Fire Department responded 435,064 to 277,635 emergency incidents. Of these incidents, 229,709 were emergency medical incidents, and 47,926 were for fire and other 911 emergency public safety service requests.

- Most EMS Calls Handled: Engine 40 - 2,625
- Most Fire Calls Handled: Squad 72 - 2,069
- Ladder Companies
- Most Emergency Calls Overall Handled: Ladder 15 - 2,860 (48% EMS, Also most EMS for Ladder Companies)
- Most Fire Calls Handled: Ladder 5 - 1,576
- Medic Units
- Busiest Basic Life Support(BLS) Unit: Medic 8B - 8,548
- Busiest Advanced Life Support(ALS) Unit: Medic 2 - 8,493
