Famous quotes containing the words family and/or work:
“the dark ajar, the rocks breaking with light,
and undisturbed, unbreathing flame,
colorless, sparkless, freely fed on straw,
and, lulled within, a family with pets,
and looked and looked our infant sight away.”
—Elizabeth Bishop (19111979)
“Lost is our freedom
When we submit to women so:
Why do we need em
When, in their best, they work our woe?”
—Thomas Campion (15671620)
