The Perejil Island (Berber: Tura, Arabic: جزيرة تورة, Spanish: Isla de Perejil) is a small, uninhabited rocky islet located in the southern shore of the Strait of Gibraltar, 200 meters from the Moroccan coast. Its sovereignty is disputed between Spain and Morocco. It was the subject of an armed incident between the two countries in 2002.
