Paropamisadae ( /ˌpærɵˌpæmɨˈseɪdiː/; Greek: Παροπαμισάδαι) or Paropamisus ( /ˌpærɵˈpæmɨsəs/; Greek: Παροπαμισσός) was the ancient Greek name for a region of the Hindu-Kush in eastern Afghanistan, centered on the cities of Kabul and Kapisa (modern Bagram).
