Pandu

In the Mahābhārata epic, King Pandu (Sanskrit: पाण्‍डु Pāṇḍu ) is the son of Ambalika and Rishi Ved Vyasa. He is more popularly known as the father of the Pandavas and ruled Hastinapur.
