Open Range

Open Range is a 2003 American Western film directed and co-produced by Kevin Costner, based on the novel The Open Range Men by Lauran Paine. Robert Duvall and Costner starred, with Annette Bening, Michael Gambon, Abraham Benrubi, and Michael Jeter appearing in supporting roles. The film was dedicated to Jeter, who died before it was released.

The film received mostly positive reviews, and was a modest success at the box office, making about $58 million in the U.S. alone.

It was filmed on location in Alberta, Canada.
