Athletics
Northland's intercollegiate sports teams are called the "Pioneers." The school competes in the Second Division of the National Christian College Athletic Association, and competes in men's and women's soccer, men's and women's basketball, men's wrestling, and women's volleyball. Men's hockey and men's volleyball compete as athletic clubs not under the sanction of the NCCAA. Men's soccer has been Northland's strongest sport, as they have won over ten regional championships in addition to several national championships. Their most recent season ended with loss in the national championship game to Moody Bible Institute.
