Cups
The league has three cup competitions. The League Cup is contested by all the clubs in the league. The Wilkinson Sword Trophy is only contested by the Division One clubs. The President's Cup is contested by the top eight teams in each division from the previous season, provided they remain in the league.

Famous quotes containing the word cups:
“What a devil hast thou to do with the time of the day? Unless hours were cups of sack, and minutes capons, and clocks the
tongues of bawds, and dials the signs of leaping-houses, and the blessed sun himself a fair hot wench in flame-colored
taffeta, I see no reason why thou shouldst be so superfluous
to demand the time of the day.”
—William Shakespeare (15641616)
“When cups went round at close of day
Is not that how good stories run?
The gods were sitting at the board
In their great house at Slievenamon.
They sang a drowsy song, or snored,
For all were full of wine and meat.”
—William Butler Yeats (18651939)
“Sigh no more, ladies.
Time is male
and in his cups drinks to the fair.”
—Adrienne Rich (b. 1929)
