Famous quotes containing the words news and/or conference:

I wouldn’t interfere with the actual news itself, but TV is show biz, Max, and even the news has to have a little showmanship.
    Paddy Chayefsky (1923–1981)

The peace conference must not adjourn without the establishment of some ordered system of international government, backed by power enough to give authority to its decrees. ... Virginia Crocheron Gildersleeve (1877–1965)
