Equipment
New York State Court Officers are equipped with a Glock 19 9mm semi-automatic pistol, expandable baton, handcuffs, flashlight, bullet resistant vest, and a radio that is directly linked to the Central Dispatcher and other officers.
Veteran Officers that were originally issued a .38 caliber revolver upon their appointment as a New York State Court Officer, have the option of still carrying it. However, the majority of the veteran officers have made the switch to the Glock 19.
