- NSPE’s Issue Briefs include information on a variety of federal and state legislative and regulatory issues of importance to professional engineers. Each brief includes a summary of the NSPE position, background information, and references to more detailed NSPE documents.
- NSPE’s official statements, approved by the Board of Directors, are available for review on topics such as infrastructure, competitiveness, hazardous waste management, water resources, and wetlands protection.

Famous quotes containing the words government and/or relations:
“... Washington was not only an important capital. It was a city of fear. Below that glittering and delightful surface there is another story, that of underpaid Government clerks, men and women holding desperately to work that some political pull may at any moment take from them. A city of men in office and clutching that office, and a city of struggle which the country never suspects.”
—Mary Roberts Rinehart (18761958)
“All social rules and all relations between individuals are eroded by a cash economy, avarice drags Pluto himself out of the bowels of the earth.”
—Karl Marx (18181883)
