Mytishchi

Mytishchi (Russian: Мытищи; ) is a city and the administrative center of Mytishchinsky District of Moscow Oblast, Russia, which lies to the northeast of Russia's capital Moscow, on the Yauza River and the Moscow–Yaroslavl railroad. Population: 173,160 (2010 Census); 159,900 (2002 Census); 154,068 (1989 Census); 125,000 (1973); 60,000 (1939).
