Mpu Gandring was a famous Keris maker, a type of Javanese knife. He lived during the Kediri era and killed by Ken Arok using his uncompleted keris. Mpu Gandring's keris than cursed by himself after Ken Arok used his keris to kill Mpu Gandring. The curse to his keris was keris will kill seven human after himself.
