Sir Max Hugh Macdonald Hastings, FRSL, FRHistS (born 28 December 1945) is a British journalist, editor, historian and author. His parents were Macdonald Hastings, the noted journalist and war correspondent, and Anne Scott-James, sometime editor of Harper's Bazaar.
