In 1999, Rolling Stone named "The Dope Show" as the Best Video of the Year.
On August 29, 2000, the band was inducted by Kerrang! into their Hall of Fame at the 2000 Kerrang! Awards. The band's frontman was on hand to receive the award from Swedish-born actress Britt Ekland. As a result of a food fight that erupted between guests like Iron Maiden, Foo Fighters, and Motorhead, the presenter slipped on piece of watermelon and broke her ankle and wrist. Still, she presented the award to Marilyn Manson while sitting in a chair.
