Peculiar Meta-keywords in Website
On 23 June 2008, the Mainichi Daily News(MDN) website apparently removed some meta-keywords. It was "japanese girls" and "hentai". This is often seen in the pornography site. It is thought that MDN camouflaged the pornography site to increase the number of accesses. But, indecent sentences were obviously included in a part of MDN. Mainichi confirmed fabrication was included in at least one article. Therefore, it is necessary to note it for the reference to the article. "Nikkei" is a famous financial press in Japan.("Nihon Keizai Shimbun") The reason why MDN adopted this keyword is uncertain. This keyword has the possibility of the trademark violation. It is the one that the Coca-Cola is using the trademark of Pepsi. It is an act of at least betraying the trust of the advertiser.

Famous quotes containing the word peculiar:
“One writer says that Brown’s peculiar monomania made him to be “dreaded by the Missourians as a supernatural being.” Sure enough, a hero in the midst of us cowards is always so dreaded. He is just that thing. He shows himself superior to nature. He has a spark of divinity in him.”
—Henry David Thoreau (1817–1862)
