Supported Platforms
Lynx was originally designed for Unix-like operating systems, though it was ported to VMS soon after its public release and to other systems, including DOS, Microsoft Windows, Mac OS and OS/2. It is included in default OpenBSD installation and can be found in repositories of most Linux distributions, as well as in the Fink repository for Mac OS X. Ports to BeOS, MINIX, QNX, AmigaOS and OS/2 are also available.

Famous quotes containing the words supported and/or platforms:
“A solitary traveler whom we saw perambulating in the distance loomed like a giant. He appeared to walk slouchingly, as if held up from above by straps under his shoulders, as much as supported by the plain below. Men and boys would have appeared alike at a little distance, there being no object by which to measure them. Indeed, to an inlander, the Cape landscape is a constant mirage.”
—Henry David Thoreau (18171862)
“The personal things should be left out of platforms at conventions .... You can argue yourself blue in the face, and youre not going to change each others minds. Its a waste of your time and my time.”
—Barbara Bush (b. 1925)
