Los Lonely Boys

Los Lonely Boys is an American Chicano rock power trio from San Angelo, Texas. They play a style of music they call "Texican Rock n' Roll," combining elements of rock and roll, Texas blues, brown eyed soul, country, and Tejano.

The band consists of three brothers: Henry (guitar, vocals), Jojo (bass, vocals), and Ringo (drums, vocals) Garza. They follow the tradition of their father, Ringo Garza, Sr., who formed a band with his brothers called the Falcones. The Falcones played conjunto music in southern Texas during the 1970s and 1980s. To date, Los Lonely Boys have released three studio albums and a live album, all on the Epic Records label. Their debut single, "Heaven," was a number one hit on the Billboard adult contemporary chart and reached the Top 40 on the Billboard Hot 100 in 2004.

Famous quotes containing the words los, lonely and/or boys:

Being blunt with your feelings is very American. In this big country, I can be as brash as New York, as hedonistic as Los Angeles, as sensuous as San Francisco, as brainy as Boston, as proper as Philadelphia, as brawny as Chicago, as warm as Palm Springs, as friendly as my adopted home town of Dallas, Fort Worth, and as peaceful as the inland waterway that rubs up against my former home in Virginia Beach.
    Martina Navratilova (b. 1956)

I think it must be lonely to be God.
    Nobody loves a master. No.
    Gwendolyn Brooks (b. 1917)

By school age, many boys experience pressure to reveal inner feelings as humiliating. They think their mothers are saying to them, “You must be hiding something shameful.” And shucking clams is a snap compared to prying secrets out of a boy who’s decided to “clam up.”
    Ron Taffel (20th century)
