UK Transmission
Star Trek was first broadcast in the UK on BBC One starting on 12 July 1969 with the episode "Where No Man Has Gone Before". The first episode broadcast in colour was "Arena" on 15 November 1969. The running order was very different from the US original with the episodes being shown in four seasons between 1969 and 1971. "The Cage" was first transmitted on 19 August 1992 and three episodes, "Plato's Stepchildren", "The Empath" and "Whom Gods Destroy" were not broadcast in the UK until early 1994.
