Dean Sykes is Linda Sykes's brother, and appears in two episodes.
Dean and his companion, Lenny Larkin, stage an armed raid at Frescho's Supermarket. When the shop is closed, however, Dean hopes he can raid the safe in the supermarket, and escape with thousands of pounds. As the siege grows, the police surround Frescho's. The climax occurs when the authorities burst in and police markswoman, Emma Taylor, fires a shot at Dean, who dies on the way to hospital.
