Libertyville High School supports numerous extracurricular clubs and activities, some of which change from year to year based on student interest. The updated list is available here.
The scholastic bowl team twice finished in the top four at the IHSA State Championship Tournament: achieving third place in 1996–97 and fourth place in 2006–07.
