Limitation

  • Change in taste or fashion.
  • Change in income
  • Change in other prices.
  • Discovery of substitution.
  • Anticipatory change in prices.
  • Rare or distinction goods.

There are certain goods which do not follow this law. These include Veblen goods and Giffen goods.
